    Noam Maggor is Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London. He is a historian of the United States during the ‘long’ nineteenth century, with interests in the history of capitalism, the state, business, populism, and comparative political economy.

    is Glenn M. Linden Associate Professor of the United States Civil War Era at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He is a historian of nineteenth-century U.S. politics and economics, with particular interest in agriculture, energy and development.

    is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Economics at the American University of Paris. Her research focuses on the interplay between economic theory, policy, and visions of economic development in the context of the monetary policy debates of the post-Civil War Reconstruction period.
